Who Are We?
We're an experienced and expanding toy company seeking an ambitious and responsible part-time graphic design intern with strengths in packaging design. Our target audience is girls 3-6 years old in the role play category. Some of our current toy licenses include: Mattel (Barbie), Disney and Black and Decker. Our office is located approx. 30-min. drive north of Philadelphia, so personal transportation is recommended.
Who Are You?
- A senior or experienced junior in Graphic Design program.
- ave excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Possess above-average computer skills (for experience level) with proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator (Mac OS).
- Be able to free hand draw/sketch ideas if necessary.
- Have a strong combination of creative and technical skills, drive and professional attitude.
What Will You Do?
Possible Daily Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers and design department to brainstorm and conceptualize new names, looks and copy for packaging.
- Create 3D "mock-ups" of new packaging/product layouts and concept boards.
- Use of Photoshop skills to edit/clip images and high-resolution photography.
- Assist in setting up and printing daily packaging submissions.
- Help organize, archive and catalog electronic files.
- design products or make revisions to product sketches
- prepare files for our HK office in order to prepare samples
Applicant should have a compiled portfolio of school projects and/or freelance work, showing diversity of skills. Successful candidate must be able to fulfill your internship requirements within normal office hours, which are M-F, 8 am - 5 pm. Preferred hours are approx. 10-15 per week, but will base on school requirements and availability.
